تُعلن محافظة مهرجان وهران الدولي للفيلم العربي ، إقامة الدورة 12 من المهرجان في الفترة من 4 إلى 10 أكتوبر 2024 بمدينة وهران الساحرة غربي الجزائر.
وكان المهرجان قد غاب لمدة 6 سنوات، حيث تم تنظيم آخر دورة عام 2018 وهي الدورة 11.
ويقود الدورة 12 من المهرجان الفنان عبد القادر جريو مع إدارة فنية جديدة من المحترفين والمهنيين في مجال السينما، بالإضافة إلى هيئة استشارية من صناع السينما.
وستعرف الدورة الجديدة برنامجا متنوعا وزخما كبيرا في الفعاليات، كما ستعرض آخر إنتاجات السينما العربية بحضور صناعها.
وتُعلم محافظة المهرجان أنّ باب المشاركة في مختلف مسابقات المهرجان سيتم الإعلان عنه قريبا، ناهيك عن فتح مسابقة لاختيار الملصقة الرسمية للمهرجان.
وعن الدورة 12 من المهرجان قال الفنان عبد القادر جريو، إن الدورة الجديدة ستعرف زخما كبيرا من خلال البرنامج المُسطّر ووضع أسس جديدة لدعم الصناعة السينمائية في الجزائر والعالم العربي وجعل هذا الحدث السينمائي مركزا للتأثير في السينما العربية، ناهيك عن إبراز الجانب السياحي لمدينة وهران الساحرة بالشراكة الوثيقة مع السلطات المحلية للمدينة
ويضيف جريو بأنّ المهرجان استعان بخبرات طاقم فني وإداري مُتمرّس بالإضافة إلى لجنة استشارية عليا للمهرجان متكونة من خيرة صناع ومهنيي السينما.
مهرجان وهران الدولي للفيلم العربي تم تأسيسه عام 2007، ويعدّ نافذة كبيرة على السينما العربية كما يحمل بعدا دوليا من خلال برامجه المتنوّعة إلى جانب العروض والندوات والنقاشات والورشات، وتحتضنه مدينة وهران الساحلية غربي الجزائر.

International Arab Film Festival
The General management of the Oran International Arab Film Festival (OIAFF) is pleased to announce its 12th edition, that will take place from October 4th to 10th, 2024, in the heart of the beautiful city of Oran, located in western Algeria.
The festival is is back after a six-year of absence, marked by the last edition in 2018.
Under the leadership of the artist and actor Abdelkader Djeriou, this new edition promises an enriching experience, curated by a team of cinema professionals and a renowned advisory board.
An engaging program, showcasing the latest productions of Arab cinema and featuring filmmakers and industry professionals.
The Festival’s general management also announces that registrations for the different official competitions will be open very soon, along with a call contest for the creation of the official festival poster.
Abdelkader Djeriou declares that this edition will be characterized by renewed vitality, with carefully crafted program and the creation of new initiatives to support the film industry in Algeria and the Arab world.
This cinematic rendezvous confirm it role as a significant contributor, while highlighting the tourist charm of Oran, in close collaboration with the local authorities.
He also highlights the involvement of a team of technical and administrative experts, as well as a distinguished advisory committee composed of cinema professionals.
Since its creation in 2007, the Oran International Arab Film Festival has established itself as a major event for Arab cinema, combining an international dimension through its screenings, conferences, discussions, and workshops, in the enchanting setting of the coastal city of Oran.
